The Chung Group is always searching for talented and highly motivated individuals to join our team. Please check out the Research page to understand our research interests and the desirable research background and necessary skills to make a dent in those areas!

For interested candidates with solid experience in mass spectrometry or large dataset mining (e.g., UK Biobank), please send your CV, a short description of your research interests, skills, and how you could contribute to the research of the team to jake.chung[at]cuhk.edu.hk

Outstanding candidates are encouraged to apply for funding from external sources, such as:

1. RGC Junior Research Fellow Scheme (formerly as the RGC Postdoctoral Fellowship Scheme): with an annual stipend of 425 000 HKD

2. Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme: with an annual stipend of 344 400 HKD for up to three years

We also welcome visiting scholars and exchange students to come to our group for short-term knowledge exchange and technology transfer.

In return, our group is dedicated to providing the best research and training environment. In addition to mentorship by the PI, our team also provides peer-to-peer coaching. Our work is collaborative and you will have ample opportunities to meet with open-minded colleagues from other faculties and schools who are passionate about their research and creative in making impactful discoveries.
